Graduate of The National Youth Theatre of Great Britain, (Epic Stages 2016) and The Guildford School of Acting (Actor Musician, 2020). Recipient of The Actor Musician Prize for Highest Performance in the Programme.
About
Kirsty’s interest for performance started at age 11, when a school music teacher noticed that she had a talent for singing, and insisted she start training. She ended up training as a Classical and Opera Singer from 2007-2013, which was how she discovered a love for Acting as well. Alongside this Kirsty was training as a musician, at the time focusing solely on the Saxophone.
By the time she reached the later parts of Sixth Form College, Kirsty had 7 years of vocal training under her belt, by this time not just in the Classical and Opera Sector, but also in Musical Theatre, Jazz, and Pop/Rock. At this point Kirsty took on the lead role of Orpheus, in the Southampton Youth Opera production of L’Orfeo, at The Nuffield Theatre.
In 2016, Kirsty went on to train with the National Youth Theatre of Great Britain on their Epic Stages course. This then helped her gain a place at The Guildford School of Acting, on their Actor Musician Course, where she graduated in 2020, achieving the Actor Musician Prize for Highest Performance in the programme.
Since then she has worked throughout the UK as an Actor, Musician, and Vocalist.
