About

Kirsty is an Actor, Musician, Singer and Vocal Coach, originally from The New Forest. Now based in Cambridge, Kirsty is studying her PGCE in Teaching with QTS at The University of Cambridge. She is also an Associate Singing Teaching at the Guildford School of Acting, as well as at the GSA Junior Conservatoire and Saturday School, and is an Associate Singing Tutor for Spotlight Theatre School of Excellence, Shanghai. She has recently finished working in Saudi Arabia with the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Culture, and Spears Theatre Arts, designing and delivering a Musical Theatre syllabus to all ages 11+, in the country’s inaugural Performing Arts Programme. Kirsty also teaches privately, running her own business providing online singing training to students from all over the world.

Beginning vocal training at age 11 after a school music teacher spotted her ability, Kirsty quickly developed a passion for music and acting that far surpassed anything else in her life. She went on to train at The National Youth Theatre of Great Britain on their Epic Stages course, and following on from this went to the Guildford School of Acting to study Actor Musicianship, finishing top of her class and therefore winning The Actor Musician Prize.

Alongside her work, Kirsty is passionate about transforming arts access for Children and Young People, and ensuring that Arts Education is delivered equally to all, regardless of their socio-economic background. Her goal in the future is to start a Non-Profit organisation, which will aim to fund music and arts education in schools where this has suffered due to budgetary and funding cuts.
